Ugadi
Ugadi is the sanskirt word meaning “beginning of the age”, in Karnataka this day mostly falls on March and is considered to be one of the divine days. Ugadi is celebrate to earmark the beginning of the new year and is one of popular festivals of Karnataka and also across the other South Indian states.
