Talakona Waterfalls

The alluring waterfalls are located in Nirabailu village, Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh. The waterfalls are said to have herbal values well known for its healing properties. The waterfalls are present in the Venkateshwara national park which is 59km away from Tirupati. The majestic waterfalls are located in the forest area of the national park gives magical experience to the travelers to trek in the dense forest.
It provides experience to the travelers with many thrilling activities rather than just relaxing out. The name Talakona means “tala” means “head” and “Kona” means “starting point”. It is considered to be the starting point of Seshachalam hills where the temple of Lord Shiva is located. You can feel the lush of green forest, magical waterfalls, chirping of birds and amuse yourself by indulging in adventure activities conducted there.
