Sri Vedapureeswarar Temple
Temple’s Peculiarity:
This time worn temple is praised by many saints and has been renovated newly by Dewan Kandappa Mudaliyar .The prime deity Lord Siva is a swayambu lingam. This startling temple is dated 234 years back.
Festivals:
Being a famous Shiva temple all saivite festivals are celebrated among them Brahmotsavam, Navratri, Pradosham, Sankara Chaturthi, Aadi pooram, Karthigai and Shivaratri are most famous festivals.
Special Offerings:
Devotees come here to get rid of their ill luck and misshapes. They offer white cloth, to the Lord and perform rose water, coconut, sandal and sacred ash abhishekam to the Lord and Goddesses. On pradosham days they also lit ghee lamps.

The temple is active from 6 am to 1 pm then from 4 pm to 9 pm.

The Dakshinamurthy here faces South direction which is a rarest form, and Lord Muruga in this temple is praised by Saint Ramalinga. This temple is very powerful that the devotees will be relieved from all their miseries if they worship the lord with all of their heart.
