Panchavati Anjaneya Temple
Temple’s Peculiarity:
This famous Anjaneya temple is situated 12 km away from Pondicherry. This temple beams with the pride as it has the world’s second largest Anjaneya effigy in the world.

This temple is mostly crowded during Saturdays; some of the important festivals celebrated here are Krishna Jayanthi, and Vaikunta Ekadasi.
Special Offering:
Devotees offer Beetle garland, butter and clothes to Anjaneya. They also prepare vada garland for the Lord later they distribute it to the poor people.

The temple is kept open from 7 am to 11 am then from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Uniqueness:
People suffering from incurable diseases and ceaseless struggles are advised to visit this temple for six consecutive Saturdays and chant the mantra of Jai Ram 108 times; they are also given a spiritual armlet.
