Marari Beach
Marari beach is located in Alappuzha district of Kerala state . It is 11 KMS away from Alleppey town . The Term “Marari“ is originated from the word “Mararikulam“. It is one of the local fishing villages in Alleppey. The main attraction of this beach is Small Coconut trees. This beach is very quiet ,uncrowded with a few local people but not ideal for swimming. This beach is so long and people can walk and relax, can see blue sea and sky along with the Palm trees. During Sunset, people can feel the sound of wind , water and can enjoy the cool breeze as well. Since there is no lights on the beach, after sunset the area becomes too dark stay out. No public entrance is there in this beach only a small path is leading up to the beach. There is no restaurants near by the beach so we need to provide arrangements for food and water before visiting the beach . As of now there are few good resorts in this area like Marari Beach Resort , Turtle Beach resort etc.
